First and foremost the soul of a garment is something that is super esoteric to understand. If you’re not really into fabrics and their actual make-up then it’s more or less common consumer mentality - “It looks cool and feel great…”
I think that the intracacies of warp and weft are truly amazing. I get excited thinking about an indigo overdye or Japanese Edo period fabrics.
